for members of thebackalleys.com : basically, i got moved to a better server on my host and it required that i change my nameservers. however, i don't have direct control over the domain so this is currently impossible. the old nameservers expire right about now so the site will appear to be gone. this week i'll be fighting to put the domain under my complete control where it belongs. even after that when i change the nameservers it will take 2 to 3 days for it to come back for everyone.

i will update this post when the domain is no longer up in the air

edit: site is going in and out, it may never go flat this week at all. i really don't know lol

One time in the midst of switching my game's site over to a new server, some of my players were getting some new pet food website. So I had to tell them to flush DNS or just wait a while. ;P

FAQ #665: How can I get more pageviews without paying for ads?

Did you know? 249% of teenagers don't understand how percentages work?
:icontanookisuitsam:
Is that why the forum looks like absolute shit right now? Trying to look at posts and stuff is a pain in the fucking ass with the forum.
:icontanookisuitsam:
oh wait nvm, i cleared my cookies and everything is back to normal.

really? what does it look like?
:iconrtil:
something similar happened to me a few years ago. but it was one of those typical ad-littered placeholder sites
:icontanookisuitsam:
It just looked like a large list with all the posts. It was pretty annoying!
