Skullgirls is in the running for EVO 2013 8th game, determined by a donation drive for Breast Cancer Research Foundation, but it is behind Super Smash Brothers Melee. Alright, so maybe i'm biased, but I think Skullgirls deserves that slot!

Today, a Skullgirls stream called Salty Cupcakes is streaming live games starting 8PM PST for Skullgirls EVO 2013 Breast Cancer Research donation drive! I encourage you all to support Skullgirls & the fight against breast cancer by tuning in today and donating!

Here is a link to the stream and a link to the donation page. Get ready, it's going to be a big day! Skullgirls has one week to catch up to SSBM and the totals are ~$7k to ~$14.5k respectively, but i think we can do it. All the donations go to a good cause no matter what!

For those wondering what EVO 2013 is, from their website: The Evolution Championship Series (Evo for short) represents the largest and longest-running fighting game tournaments in the world. Evo events bring together the best of the best from around the world.

Only reason I'd want something other than Smash Bros in is because the community for that game will just end up throwing another bitchfit because the EVO organizers will want items on. It'd be the Brawl Finals Controversy all over again.
